Luckily I love snow, and this was indeed a beautiful day. We started getting a little concerned when by 11 am we had 7 inches on the ground. About an inch an hour fell for most of the day. At nightfall we had about 11 inches, with another 12 or so forecasted here in Salem.
The Next Day....2-3 feet of snow everywhere, along with many many 5-6 foot drifts.
Took about 30 minutes just to get out the door...
To give you an idea of how high of a drift this was...The bottom of our door is 3 feet off the ground
Logan found a way out though :)
This doesn't look good at all...
It's hard to tell from this photo, but this wave-like drift is about 4 feet high.

This is absolutely insane! I've seen some big storms, but nothing like this.
