New England SILTZ Family

As it stands right now there are 2 main lines of Siltz's in the New England area. We know they stem from the same ancestor, although the missing links have not surfaced yet. This line is a work in progress, as I sent out genealogy kits to every Siltz I could find. I believe that Joseph was the immigrant ancestor of the this family and that he is the illusive brother of my 2nd great grandfather, Philip W. Siltz. I think all of the second generation were born in Saranac, Clinton Co., NY. Richard, Leo, and Samuel moved to VT to live. Samuel went back to NY. Richard and Leo stayed there in VT.
