This is just something I've been messing with lately. The idea is that I can email these little snippets to my site, and then you people can read them. These will, in theory, be stupid things that aren't worth a real blog entry.

Medium mouthfeel. Crisp and balanced flavor. Sweet, almost cloying flavor, with a surprising alcohol burn. Minimal head. Strong alcohol aroma, with some malts and dark fruits as well. Flavor fairly well balanced. A bit of an alcohol burn, but not too bad. No barley wine weirdness, so that's cool. Pretty good.Dieu du Ciel Aphrodite(bottle) Black with a huge brown head that lasted forever. Aroma of dark fruits and vanilla. Thick and coating mouthfeel. A surprising alcohol burn. Decent is all I can say.MacKroken Flower(bottle) Hazy dark brown, with a sizable beige head. Aroma of alcohol and molasses and honey. Chewy mouthfeel. Fairly intense flavor but no burn at the finish. Good.FreakingIt's freaking snowing again.New Holland Charkoota Smoked Rye Dopplebock(draft) Clear dark ruby-colored. No appreciable head. Nice malty smoky aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor a little flat with smoke and some dopplebock weirdness. Decent.
