A quick test to see if you have CTS:

1. Locate a joint that you suspect may be inflamed. For me it was the base of my thumb.

2. Heat a knitting needle until it glows red.

3. Insert the knitting needle into the suspect joint.

4. If you can feel no difference in the pain, then you have CTS.
