(draft) A fairly mild porter that smelled and tasted of baker’s chocolate. No bitterness or coffee taste that I could detect, and I think that's a good thing.
Ounces Consumed: 20(draft) Lacing doesn't even begin to describe the foam that clung to my glass. A very nice stout - reminded me a lot of Murphy's. There was just a hint of chocolate, but nothing overpowering or pretentious at all. Yummy.
Ounces Consumed: 60(bottle) I was quite impressed by this. An aroma that I can only describe as chocolately-grapey. A flavor that stayed with me from the time my lips touched it to the time I swallowed - in other words, consistently good. Quite yummy. I wish I'd had another one.
Ounces Consumed: 883(can) Nice and creamy, though that could have been because of the widget. Compared to Guinness, a little sweeter, with a a subtle chocolate flavor instead of coffee. I liked it, and would probably like it more if I can ever find it on tap.
Ounces Consumed: 16(draft) Not a thing wrong with this beer. That's the first thing I thought of. No aroma to speak of, a mild chocolate flavor that was quite yummy. No bitterness at all. An excellent session porter.

Ounces Consumed: 20(draft) Black with a large tan head. Fantastic chocolate and malt aroma. The flavor is chocolately and roasty. Very roasty. I'm not even sure that's a word, but I'm using it anyway. Pretty damn good. The 10.6% ABV is very well hidden.
Ounces Consumed: 58(draft) Black with minimal tan head. Subtle malt and chocolate aroma. Mild malt and chocolate flavor, a little bitter but with a sweet finish. Good.
Ounces Consumed: 11(bottle) Black with a nice beige head. Aroma of malts and bourbon, mostly bourbon. Thickish mouthfeel, creamy, coating. Flavor of chocolate and vanilla, with a very nice smooth bourbony finish. Quite good, albeit very sneaky with the 11% ABV.
Ounces Consumed: 12(draft) Took a long time to pour, but worth the wait. Very smooth. Nice chocolate aroma and flavor that reminded me of Young's Double Chocolate Stout. This is a very good beer. Yummy.
Ounces Consumed: 367(mixture) I mixed Bell's Cherry Ale and Young's Double Chocolate Stout in a 1-to-1 ratio. Just a fantastic combination. A nice deep red color. Chocolate flavor that's followed by a slightly sour finish. I'd definitely buy this if it was available commercially. Yummy.
Ounces Consumed: 20(mixture) I mixed Rogue Chocolate Stout and NABC Cone Smoker in a 1:1 ratio. I'd been expecting these two very different flavors to elevate each other to new heights. But that's not what happened. They pretty much cancelled each other out. Good thing I didn't waste too much beer with this experiment.
Ounces Consumed: 6(draft) Hazy very dark brown. Minimal white head. Indescribable aroma. Maybe light chocolate and light malts. Thick mouthfeel. Amazing and indescribable flavor of nuts and chocolate and roasted malts. Very very good.

Ounces Consumed: 72(bottle) Black with a thin brown head. Nice malty chocolate aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor very malty, with chocolate and a hint of oak. Doesn't taste as strong as it is. Very yummy.
Ounces Consumed: 34(bottle) Black with a decent tan head. Incredible aroma of chocolate and smoke and grapes. Thin mouthfeel, a little watery. Flavor is good and chocolatey, but thin. No apparent smoke. A little disappointing, but still good.
Ounces Consumed: 252(bottle) Black with a smallish tan head. Aroma of creamy chocolate, like chocolate milk. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor of slightly burnt malts and dark chocolate. Good, though.
(draft) Smelled like snot, but that might have been because I was developing a cold. Served too warm for my tastes, and I almost never say that. A very creamy and smooth chocolatey porter. It contains more alcohol than I'd have guessed. I'd like to try this again once they get the cooler fixed.
Ounces Consumed: 10(draft) The color of dark cola. Nice tan head. Very noticeable aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor mostly subdued chocolate. Pretty good.
Ounces Consumed: 21(draft) Pours cloudy brown with a minimal tan head. Nice light aroma of chocolate and hay. Watery mouthfeel. Flavor of water with some wheat and chocolate, more fizzy than I expected. Pretty good, actually.
Ounces Consumed: 2Fucking yummy and chocolately and yummy. Whoever says that there's no good beer at Laclede's Landing is an idiot. This beer was worth the trip all by itself.
Ounces Consumed: 32(bottle) The color of very dark cola, with a medium tan head. Aroma of everything. Roasted malts and coffee and and bourbon and wine and dark fruits and even chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel. Very busy flavor with a lot of different flavors all fighting for supremacy. A touch of alcohol burn from the sip through the finish. A very yummy beer. Also, this is my 800th rating!
Ounces Consumed: 40(draft) Black with minimal brown head. Very nice aroma of smoke and chocolate. Thick mouthfeel. Flavor malty and chocolatey, with a touch of smoke. A very good beer.
Ounces Consumed: 2510(draft) Black with a decent beige head. Flavor a little burnt, but good. Chocolate only showed up in the finish, which was quite smooth. Good. I hope to have more before they run out.
Ounces Consumed: 111(draft) Black with a thin brown head. Enticing chocolatey grapey smoky aroma. Thinnish mouthfeel. Wow. Roasty and creamy and smoky. Quite yummy.
Ounces Consumed: 211(draft) Black with a decent tan head which completely disappeared within one minute.. Strong aroma of roasted malt and a touch of chocoloate. Flavor is like the aroma. Mostly roasted malt with a touch of chocolate. And no hop bitterness! Yay! I really like this beer, so I'l probably never see it again once this batch is gone. I'd better drink up while I can.
Ounces Consumed: 120(bottle) Very dark brown with a decent tan head. Aroma of hops and smoke and a little chocolate. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor much more malty than I was expecting. A little smoky, a little chocolatey, and a lot malty. Good, but also surprisingly drying. Needs more sweetness and smoke, I think.
Ounces Consumed: 25(draft) Black with nice firm beige head. A light chocolate aroma, and a light chocolate flavor - reminded me of chocolate milk. Mouthfeel was a little thinner than I'd been expecting. There was a very slight alcohol burn at the finish. A pretty good beer.
Ounces Consumed: 60A fantastic beer, from the intense chocolate syrup aroma through the creamy mouthfeel to the delicious smooth finish. Beyond yummy.
Ounces Consumed: 3393(bottle) Pours black and syrupy. Minimal brown head. Enticing chocolate aroma. Flavor of chocolate and roasted malts. Very malty. Incredibly yummy.
Ounces Consumed: 140(bottle) Hard to find anything wrong with this beer. If I had to pick something it would be the high ABV which limits the amount that can be consumed. A yummy chocolately flavor with a fairly intense alcohol burn. Quite good, and I will be buying more bottles which I will try to let age.
Ounces Consumed: 82(bottle) Fizzy black with a huge tan head. The primary aroma is that of bananas, though chocolate is also detectable. Creamy flavor, mostly of roasted chocolate and some dryness that's probably the peanut butter. Not as flavorful as I'd have liked. Weird and decent.
Ounces Consumed: 25Highly recommended to me by a coffee lover, so I was expecting coffee flavor to the beer. This instead has a good chocolate base to the flavor. A little extra bite at the end, because of the 7.2 ABV, that I could have done without. Good though. A little bitter

The finish was very strong chocolate, almost too strong. It was only after my taste buds had been beaten into submission that I was able to really appreciate the finish. Lingering and coating dark chocoloate. A very damn good beer.
Ounces Consumed: 37(draft) That first taste nearly overpowered me. I still can't believe that this beer comes from a brewpub catering to the flavor-impaired masses. Very chocolately, very roasty, very delicious. One of the best porters I've ever had.

Ounces Consumed: 156(draft) Incredible head and lacing. Had a strong coffee aroma but the flavor was an incredible blend of both coffee and chocolate. Very creamy and very yummy.
Ounces Consumed: 406(draft) Good head, good lacing. Subtle chocolate aroma and more subtle chocolate flavor. Nothing else to distinguish it at all. It did kind of grow on me though.
