(draft) One of my favorites. I seemed to enjoy this more and more each time I had it. Probably the best Scotch Ale I've had. The flavor is hard to describe. I think that this one of those beers that you have to drink to understand just how good it is.

(can) Very creamy and smooth. This beer had a lot of stuff floating in it, and by the time I got to the last inch or so of the glass it was grossing me out so I stopped drinking it.

(draft) This was decent, but there was just something strange about it. Some fruity characteristic that I couldn't identify. There was also a bitterness that came out of nowhere at the finish.

(draft) Clear copper color. The aroma and flavor were mild, but malty and fruity. Very smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Good.

(bottle) Clear dark amber. Minimal head. Aroma of hops and malts. Flavor pretty good. Mostly malty sweetness with a touch of grass or something like that. A touch of hoppiness at the end that didn't gross me out.

(draft) Clear dark amber. Good long-lasting head. No detectable aroma. The mouthfeel is a little watery, and the flavor is mostly roasted malts. A decent beer, but kind of a waste of time. The alcohol was hidden very well, a little too well, I think.

(draft) Creamy and malty. Very good, and I ended up having a second one. The best lacing I've seen in a long time.

Had this on tap at a bar with the same name in Las Vegas. By the end of the week I knew I'd found my new favorite non-smoked beer. Perfectly balanced sweetness and bitterness, and also with a little touch of something special in the base flavor. Very tough to describe though.

More malty than other Scotch Ales I've tried, and that extra maltiness was needed to help mask the alcohol. A very good beer.

(draft) A nice dark brown color that revealed red when help up to light. I thought the taste was very good, though there seemed to be a slight gritty feel until the head had dissipated. The slightly bitter finish made me want to drink again to get back to the nice flavor. Not recommended on an empty stomach, as I wanted another pint but had to decline.

(draft) This was my first scotch ale, and I guess it was a little blander than I expected. I did really like it though.
