(bottle) The color of dark tea. No head to speak of. Subdued aroma of apple peels and caramel. Medium mouthfeel, a little coating. Flavor a bit stronger than I was expecting. Nicely balanced apples and caramel, with a touch of oak perhaps. A very nice beer.
