One of the most beautiful sights I've ever witnessed was @ the Grand Canyon. It was nearing sunset, and VERY bright and very distinct sunrays were coming through the clouds and shining down into the canyon. It was breathtaking. I'm not a religious person at all, but I'm sure if Jesus were to make his second coming, that he'd have chosen that scene as a backdrop. I'll have to look and see if I still have a picture of it. I'm sure the pic would be crappy after 18 years, but now my curiousity is sparked.

There were some pretty cool rays visible on the flight back to Las Vegas, but only a couple showed up in the pictures.
One of the rays pics I took - one second after I took the picture a huge bolt of lightning struck the rocks. It would have been the best picture ever.
